Emergency Food Support
ARE YOU EXPERIENCING ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
- You are in an emergency or crisis
- You are (or at risk) of becoming homeless
- You are missing meals regularly
- You are not able to afford the necessities of life (food, rent, and other essentials)
- You are unable to work due to physical and/or mental reasons
TERMS OF USE
- By accessing the LUSU FRC’s EMERGENCY FOOD PICK UP PROGRAM, you understand that this program is meant for emergency use only.
- We are here to help students in an emergency situation, facing food insecurity, meaning that you are unable to pay for food and groceries.
- A student can come in once every 14 days (if needed).
- Given that we are a FOOD BANK, we are primarily funded by donations. What we have on our shelves is all we have available.
- WE DO NOT have a “restock” date as we are not a grocery store.
- We will not always have the same items available.
- When we have high usage and no donations, there will be limited food items available.
- Our hours are subject to change. If there is a long line up, there may be wait times.
- When you come in we will ask you to fill out a short survey as a part of our funding requirements.
DON’T FORGET
- Your Student ID
- To bring your own bag
- a 3 cup/750ml dried and clean container with a lid (for rice and dried foods)
