The Bike Shack is a student-led initiative dedicated to making cycling accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Our team of passionate staff and volunteers offers a range of services, including bike repairs, workshops, rentals, and group rides. Located conveniently on campus, we’re here to help you with all your cycling needs.

What We Offer

• Bike Repairs and Maintenance: Our skilled volunteers can assist with your basic repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes, and tuning gears. We also offer workshops to teach you how to perform more advanced tasks yourself.
• Bike Rentals: Don’t have a bike? No problem! We offer affordable bike rentals so you can explore Thunder Bay on two wheels.
• Workshops and Events: From bike safety seminars to learning how to build your own bike from scratch, we host a variety of events to help you become a confident and knowledgeable cyclist.
• Group Rides: Join us for regular group rides around Thunder Bay. It’s a great way to meet fellow cyclists, discover new routes, and enjoy the outdoors.
• Equipment Storage: Our shack may not be the warmest building on campus but it still makes a great place to store your bicycle out of the snow.
