My name is Julianne Ford, and I am a third-year student in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program at Lakehead University, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in English at the Orillia campus.

I am motivated to run again because of my strong passion for community involvement and social justice. Over the past year, serving students has shown me how meaningful this role can be, and I want to continue advocating for positive change within our campus community.

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for the Lakehead University Student Union. Through participating in regular board meetings, supporting LUSU and university events, and representing our students at the Canadian Federation of Students Annual General Meeting, I gained meaningful experience in governance, student advocacy, and collaboration.

These experiences strengthened my understanding of student issues, decision-making processes, and the importance of representing diverse student voices. They have prepared me to contribute effectively, think critically, and continue serving our student body with dedication and professionalism.

My vision is to foster an inclusive, engaged, and supportive campus community where every student feels heard and represented. I want to continue strengthening communication between students and LUSU, increasing student engagement in campus initiatives, and advocating for policies that support student well-being and accessibility.

If elected, I aim to build on the progress made this year and further my positive impact on our school community and beyond.
