WE OFFER EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPORT TO ALL LAKEHEAD STUDENTS
We are proud to provide food resources and support to Lakehead students who find themselves in need. We believe in reducing the economic barriers that many prevent some of our most vulnerable members from pursuing academic excellence while studying at Lakehead. As your student union we also advocate for healthy choices on campus as well as raise awareness on student food insecurity. We also offer additional food programs, campaigns and services throughout the year, providing you great way to volunteer, get involved and give back to the student community.

Complete the form below to access your food pantry card. Due to high demand, students may apply for a maximum of one card once per month.
In January 2022, LUSU introduced our Fresh Market! We know that food insecurity remains an issue on our campus, and this will be just one way that the student union is helping to address this.
The Fresh Market runs once a month during the academic term and will offer free fruits and veggies in the Learning Commons from 1pm - 4pm for all Lakehead students.
Fall term Fresh Market schedule: 1pm - 4pm on September 20, October 18, and November 15
