Hello Everyone! Welcome to LU Food for Thought.

As a club, we work to bring together students who are passionate in ending food insecurity on our campus. We will work to identify issues and advocate for changes to end food insecurity at Lakehead. We will also work as a team to create initiatives and events to both raise awareness of food insecurity and increase food security on campus. Although emergency food responses are not our goal, we will work to address and help when necessary. The mission of our club is to address the current structural problems in the university food system and think about ways to empower students to reshape the school food environments. As a club we want to create a community and promote food sovereignty.
