The cornerstone of student life

Clubs on campus allow students to meet others with shared interests, work towards a common goal, give back to the community, have fun, and so much more.

As a LUSU member and Lakehead student, you can join almost any club and attend almost any club event! No matter what you’re looking for, a club probably exists to suit your interests. And if not, you can start one!

FINDING COMMUNITY BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

AT LUSU, WE STRONGLY BELIEVE CLUBS HOLD THE POWER TO TRULY ENHANCE AND ENRICH THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE.

We also see clubs as a great way to learn and practise useful skills needed to run an organisation. That is why, if you are interested in starting one, we are dedicated to helping you throughout your journey! By registering your club with LUSU, your club can have access to support, resources, and funding. You can also get a meeting space on campus for a free or reduced rate! To learn about the requirements to register your club with LUSU, please refer to our Clubs Handbook
