My name is Vishwarajsinh Chauhan, and I am a Computer Science student at Lakehead University as well as a current member of the Board of Directors. Serving on the Board has given me valuable insight into how decisions are made and how they directly impact students.

I am motivated to run again because I genuinely care about our student community and want to continue contributing in a meaningful way. Through my involvement as an International Student Assistant, Global Ambassador, and student leader in various clubs, I have connected with students from diverse backgrounds and understand the importance of strong representation. I want to continue advocating for students, ensuring their voices are heard, and helping create a supportive and inclusive campus environment.

I am a Computer Science student at Lakehead University and a current member of the Board of Directors. Serving on the Board has given me direct experience with governance, budgeting, and decision making that impacts students, while strengthening my sense of accountability and professionalism.

In addition, my roles as an International Student Assistant, Global Ambassador, Event Manager of the Lakehead Esports Club, and Treasurer of the ARIA Club have developed my leadership, communication, and financial management skills. Combined with my strong academic record, these experiences have prepared me to effectively represent and support the student community.

My vision is to help build a student community where every student feels heard, supported, and connected. I want to strengthen transparency in decision making and ensure students clearly understand how Board decisions impact them.

If elected, my goals are to improve communication between the Board and students, advocate for inclusive initiatives that support both domestic and international students, and promote opportunities that enhance student engagement, academic success, and campus life.
